Founded in 1975 with a population of around 16000 students. Dublin City University is a dynamic and ambitious university with a mission to transform the lives of its students. This is achieved through education, research, and innovation.  The university has forged a  reputation as  Ireland’s university for the enterprise through its strong links with academics and research. It ranks at position 19 in the world and first for its graduate employment rate.  The university has five campuses that offer over 200 programs under its five main faculties. DUBLIN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY

Founded in 1885, the Dublin Institute of Technology is the largest 3rd level institute in Ireland, with 21000 full-time students. On 1st January  2019  Dublin institute of technology was dissolved, and its functions transferred to the Technological university Dublin.

MAYNOOTH UNIVERSITY

Maynooth University is perhaps not strictly within Dublin city boundaries but it is close by and is well connected to the capital city (students can get into central Dublin from the Maynooth University campus by public transport in 45 minutes). It is a constituent part of the National University of Ireland. The university consists of 2 campuses – an older, southern campus with buildings dating back to the 1800s and a more modern campus across the road to the north. With 13,000 students, it is one of Ireland’s smallest universities but it is also fast-growing. It was only formed as a university in 1997, yet it has quickly developed a burgeoning reputation for the quality of its education. It is currently ranked #401 – 500 in the Times Higher Education world rankings and #701-750 in the QS rankings, both impressive rankings considering the university is not even a quarter of a century old. Maynooth University is one of the key partner institutions of DIFC, Seed’s partner school in Ireland, offering both Foundation and Master’s Preparation programs that will lead into Maynooth or a number of other Irish universities.
